My mission is to make sure it isn’t. I’ve watched too many people die with regrets because they didn’t start building their ideal life sooner. They spent 40+ years chasing the wrong thing because they convinced themselves they couldn’t live their ideal life of freedom, fulfillment, and authenticity.
I don’t want you to die with regrets.

Today, I’m a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Mindset & Habits Coach. I’ve spent the last decade helping people develop the skills they need to overcome the obstacles in their way, gain clarity on what they want out of life, and create a specific plan to make it a reality.
But I didn’t start out with these skills. I grew up on food stamps and public housing assistance, lived through domestic violence, and most of my friends did drugs and were in and out of prison.
My mindset and habits were terrible: I was lazy, miserable, had no direction in life, and never committed to anything.
I went to college because it was “the thing to do.” I didn’t take it seriously until I took a psychology class. In it, I learned how complex people’s motivations and behaviors are and how much potential we can tap into if we develop the skills to make it a reality.
I changed my major to psychology that day.
Over the next 10+ years, I learned everything I could about understanding and optimizing human behavior. As I learned, I honed these strategies on myself, and my quality of life skyrocketed.
When I started doing therapy, I used these same skills to help my clients overcome seemingly impossible odds and create a better life.
But I hit a wall being a therapist.
I was only allowed to help people survive—to be “subclinical.” Once they were feeling better, I had to stop seeing them. I couldn’t help them reach their potential because insurance companies don’t cover it.
I spent so long learning how to optimize my own mindset and habits, and helping others do the same, I couldn’t accept the status quo of the therapy world. Other psychologists didn’t get my vision to help people do more than just survive, but I knew I could make it a reality. But I couldn’t reach my potential—or help others reach theirs—if I kept doing therapy.
I was ready to change the world. I had to rebel and blaze my own trail.
So I became a Mindset & Habits Coach. For too long, effective psychology has been locked inside the ivory towers of academia or controlled by insurance companies. Now I use my expertise to help people optimize their mindset and habits, so they can live a meaningful life and reach their potential.
As a poor Appalachian kid who overcame domestic violence to become a psychologist and entrepreneur, I understand the power of developing the right mindset and habits to achieve success.
