Mindset & Habits Coaching
Rebels change the world, but change can be scary–it’s easy to feel lost or lonely when you’re blazing your own trail. I help rebels like you develop the mindset and habits necessary to gain the clarity, support, and accountability you need to maximize your potential and achieve your goals.
Learn how to identify your values and strengths, clarify your goals, and create a plan of action so you can leverage your strengths to achieve your goals and build a life aligned with your values.
One-on-one coaching will help you develop the right mindset and habits you need to revolutionize your life.
Here’s The Problem
You want to change the world, or your life, by challenging the status quo. But when you break from the crowd to blaze your own trail, it’s hard to know if you’re going in the right direction.
You have a vision of a better life—a life filled with purpose—but you’re not sure how to fully tap into your potential to make it a reality.
You have great ideas and know you’ve got value to give to the world. You know you can do more with your life. But your mindset and habits are holding you back—fear of the unknown, self-doubt, procrastination, lack of clarity on what to do next, or you haven’t fully committed to your goals.
Or maybe you’re building your dream company—one that will disrupt your industry. But when everyone around you is a “yes-man,” how will you know you’re making the right decisions? Complacency kills creativity and innovation.
No matter how hard you try, you still feel lost or lonely building the life you know you’re meant to live. Rebels change the world, but they need help to stay on the right path.
What’s The Worst That Could Happen?
If you don’t know you’re on the right path—or what the right path even is—you might give up.
If you don’t challenge the status quo, who will? If you don’t take control of your life and develop the tools you need to achieve your goals, how will you succeed?
You have a gift to give to the world. How many other Rebels throughout history have given up on their goals because they felt lonely or lost?
How much better could your life be if you escaped the rat race to pursue a better life—a life filled with purpose?
The wrong mindset will hold you back—imposter syndrome, poor self-confidence, lack of clarity on what you want or how to get it, toxic thinking patterns, or negative self-talk.
The wrong habits will hold you back—not executing on your plans, laziness, procrastination, lack of direction, focusing on too many things at once, neglecting to take care of your health.
The right mindset and habits are the tools you need to build a better life and achieve your goals. Without tools, you have nothing to build with. Without clarity, you don’t have a blueprint of what you’re building.
Only those who have the clarity and tools to execute achieve success.
Where Can You Go For Help?
Here’s a common struggle: you read all the self-help books, but you still haven’t managed to change your life.
The issue? Most self-help books are bullshit.
So you look into hiring a life coach.
But most life coaches aren’t highly trained and have no idea what they’re talking about—coaching is an unregulated field, so anyone can wake up, make a social media account filled with selfies and empty motivational quotes, and start calling themselves a life coach.
They can’t help you achieve your goals. Why would you invest your money—and your time—in someone who can’t help you and doesn’t understand your vision for the future?
You need someone who gets you—a fellow Rebel. Someone who has a deep understanding of psychology and how to optimize human behavior.
I’m not a life coach.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Psychologist trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Mindset & Habits Coach who’s been studying psychology since 2007 and professionally helping people overcome obstacles in their lives since 2014.
You have to have specific training and pass licensing requirements to call yourself a psychologist. I earned a doctorate in clinical psychology, then went on to get specific training in personal and executive coaching through The College of Executive Coaching—the leader in coach training for professionals with graduate degrees.
According to Dr. Jeffrey Auerbach, founder of the College of Executive Coaching,
“Psychologists have the most training of any profession in understanding human motivation, behavior, learning and change. And if they’ve done clinical work, they have a depth of one-on-one experience far greater than that of people who aren’t mental health professionals.”
I take my training seriously because I take helping Rebels like you achieve your goals seriously. Your time is limited. Why waste it on undertrained coaches?
Today, I’m a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Mindset & Habits Coach. I’ve spent the last decade helping people develop the skills they need to overcome the obstacles in their way, gain clarity on what they want out of life, and create a specific plan to achieve their goals.
But I didn’t start out with these skills. I grew up on food stamps and public housing assistance, lived through domestic violence, and most of my friends did drugs and were in and out of prison as we got older.
My mindset and habits were terrible: I was lazy, miserable, had no direction in life, and never committed to anything.
I went to college because it was “the thing to do.” I didn’t take it seriously until I took a psychology class. In it, I learned how complex people’s motivations and behaviors are and how much potential we can tap into if we develop the skills to make it a reality.
I changed my major to psychology that day.
Over the next 10+ years, I learned everything I could about understanding and optimizing human behavior. As I learned, I practiced these strategies on myself, and my quality of life dramatically improved.
When I started doing therapy, I used these same skills to help my clients overcome seemingly impossible odds and create a better life.
But I hit a wall doing therapy.
I was only allowed to help people survive—to be “subclinical.” Once they were feeling better, I had to stop seeing them. I couldn’t help them reach their potential because insurance companies don’t cover it.
I spent so long learning how to optimize my own mindset and habits, and helping others do the same, I couldn’t accept the status quo of the therapy world. Other psychologists didn’t get my vision to help people do more than just survive, but I knew I could make it a reality. But I couldn’t reach my potential—or help others reach theirs—if I kept doing therapy.
I was ready to change the world. I had to rebel.
So I trained to become a Mindset & Habits Coach. For too long, effective psychology has been locked inside the ivory towers of academia or controlled by insurance companies. Now I use my expertise in psychology and optimizing human behavior to help others revolutionize their lives.
As a poor Appalachian kid who overcame domestic violence to become a psychologist and entrepreneur, I truly understand the power of developing the right mindset and habits to achieve success.
The only thing standing in the way of your ideal life are the skills you need but don’t have—but you can learn them. I’m here to help you develop the mindset and habits you need to revolutionize your life and realize your potential.

We meet up to four times each month for 45-60 minutes over the phone or through teleconferencing software like Zoom. Most people opt to meet weekly.
This format is the perfect balance between convenience and efficiency. Remote sessions are convenient for you (no time spent commuting or dealing with traffic—just log in and you’re ready to go) and a 30-45-minute format keeps us laser-focused on your top priority for that session—no meandering conversations that don’t move the needle.
How much better could your life be twelve months from now if you had the support, accountability, and specific plan to achieve your goals?
You’ll also get ongoing email support between sessions—anything from a quick question or to give a daily progress report to help you stay accountable and on track.
How serious are you about achieving your goals?
